The Project Features at a Glance:
The project aimed to study and execute an emergency technical solution to stop contaminated water leaks from Barada Riverbed to Haroush Spring system which located in the vicinity of Figeh Spring. Haroush Spring is used as one of the main water sources to Damascus and its surrounding areas, with average capacity reaching to 4000 m3/day. The chosen alternative was to design and execute a main HDPE 600 mm sewer collector laid and surrounded by concrete under the Barada riverbed.
