Description

Shalak Consultant Contribution: Contribution was limited to information collection and technical support to DAWSSA in the field of pilot project pumping tests and to topographic works monitoring.

The Project Features at a Glance:

The studies of the project included:

1.    Assessment of the surface and underground water and submarine springs existing condition.

2.    Design the suitable facilities for catching submarine springs fresh water.

3.    Review of the water demand of Damascus and its countryside.

4.    Preparation of a feasibility study for selecting the best technical solution.

5.    Preparation of an EIA study on the impact of the project.
